[Me-Oh-Sha]

Hi, I'm Meosha

I grew up in a family of loud, extroverted people.

I couldn't compete with this so I learned to communicate through design and problem-solving. My family has always had a short fuse, and that didn't help when it came to putting things together. I remember a time when my mom brought a new vacuum cleaner and she and my aunt would argue about how to put it together. By the time they finished arguing over the instructions, I'd have put the vacuum together.Small instances like this are what piqued my interests and led me to design.

Current Favorites

Storytelling is an integral part of my work and where else should I look for inspiration but from books, video games, and animation! Here are a few of my current favorites that are inspiring my work.

Book

Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma is a dark academia fantasy following and orphaned heiress as she searches for her missing sister. Also there are Ethiopian vampires.

Video Game

Monster Hunter Wilds has been so fun to play lately! I'm more of a cozy gamer but something about the way the developers have designed the world, makes it so fun to explore.

Animation

Over the Garden Wall is my all time favorite animation. It features a strange forest and two little boys trying to find their way home. Amazing storytelling and animation.
